Now Fish a Fish 2 is finally out! The beta testing is finally over.

What is new?
We have revamped most of the features in the game, making it easier and more exciting to play! More than 70 new fishes have been added, and the level cap is now increased from level 45 to level 80!

Veteran player’s transition to Fish a Fish 2:

Players that have played Fish a Fish before its version 2 revamp will keep all of their existing cash, coins, fish and items. Their existing character level will also remain unchanged.

As the fishing spots’ level requirements have changed, veteran players may find that previously unlocked spots are now inaccessible because of new level restrictions.

But we have redistributed the fishes among the spots, and you can find many new fishes in all the spots, so it will be a brand new experience for everyone.

The major changes in this version include:

Dynamic outfit and equipment shops
The outfits and equipment in shops will now be dynamically generated according to your character level. Each item will have different look and stats that are randomly generated according to a preset formulae, and refreshed every 30 minutes. So now you can have a chance to buy and equip that fashionable outfit or equipment that you have always wanted, without worrying that the stats of that item is too low for you.

Multi catch
You can now have a chance to catch more than one fish per hook. Multiple catch= multiple experience points per catch!

Stats revision
We have cut away the accuracy stat, while the other stats are tweaked. Strength now determines the chance that you may catch multiple number of fish per hook, Luck determines the chance to lure higher level fish and Skill determines the time limit for the fish catching mini games.



Unlocking fishes
Fishes available in every spot are now listed in the fishing screen. You can see the exact requirement to unlock the fishes, as compared to the previously hidden design.

Stamina revision
Stamina usage is now simplified. Each catch will now deduct just 1 stamina point regardless of fish level. Your maximum stamina points will start from 10 points, and increase every 4 character levels, to a max of 30 points.

Mini games revision
We have revised the fish catching mini games by reducing the difficulties of some of them, and introduced more randomizing of the games in each spot.
Easier character leveling

The leveling requirements have been reduced significantly, so you can now level up much faster to enjoy the game better. Level cap is also increased to level 80 now.

New UI
Almost complete revamp of the user interface, so that it is easier to navigate and play the game. For example, you can now open the market or profile pop-up screens while you are in the fishing spots, so that you can buy or equip items without needing to go out of the fishing spot and waste that precious stamina point.

Removal of baits
The bait requirement has been removed, so it is now easier to go fishing without needing to worry about having enough baits.

Neighbor benefits
You can now gain 1 stamina point, 1 XP and 10 coins when you visit your neighbor’s aquarium, once per neighbor per day. FaF Captain will be your friendly default neighbor, you are encouraged to invite your friends to be your neighbors.

New Leaderboard
The top fishermen and challengers will now be featured in a separate leaderboard. The top fishermen ranking will be based on player’s total number and level of fish caught, while top challenger ranking will be based on player’s total challenge points earned in the fishing challenge.

Random free gifts
The free gifts that you can send to friends are now randomly generated every day, so your free gifts list may be different from your friends’ list. This increase the chance that you may receive really special gifts that not many players have.

Easier collection achievements
It will now be easier to achieve bronze, silver and golden crowns for your fish collections, which is revised to be at quantity of 20,50 and 100 fish caught respectively.

Bonus rewards with fish caught
There will now be random bonus rewards accompanying every fish that you have caught. The rewards include coins, fish food and additional stamina points.

Cash rewards when level up
In addition to coins rewards, there will be free 1 Fish Cash for every level up. Veteran players (who have played Fish a Fish v1) will also receive these rewards according to their previous level, back paid to them the first time they log in to the new FaF v2.

Reduced prices for market items
The cash prices of salon makeover, aquarium items and decors have been reduced substantially.

Buy coins
Besides buying Fish Cash, you can now buy Fish Coins via Facebook credits payment channel too.

Central mailbox
All mails and gifts can now be retrieved via just one mailbox.

Comparison of item stats in market
If you hover your mouse cursor over an outfit or equipment in the market, you can see now the effects of its stats as compared to the same category of item that you are currently equipped. This will help you make shopping decisions easier.
